This notice explains how OpenACAI Inc handles information on alliednations.net, in the Allied Nations community forum, and when you contact us about the game. Forum conversations are public; account email addresses are not part of your public profile.
Who is responsible
OpenACAI Inc publishes Allied Nations: Reborn and operates this website. Alex Cooper is the game’s developer.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected] or write to OpenACAI Inc, 411 Crimson Ct, Farmington, Missouri 63640, United States. Please identify Allied Nations and the account or information involved. Do not send your password or identity documents with an initial request.
Information used by the website and forum
- Browsing: our server and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website, process connection and request information. This can include IP addresses, request times, requested pages and query strings, browser information, referring pages, and response or security events. We use it to deliver pages, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse.
- Registration protection: when registration is available, temporary abuse-prevention counters use a keyed hash derived from a connection’s IP address. These counters are not public and expire within 24 hours. This does not replace the separate operational logging described above.
- Accounts: if you have a forum account, WordPress stores your username, email address, password hash, account preferences, and related security information. Passwords are stored as hashes, not as readable account passwords. Account details support sign-in, account administration, and responding to account requests. Public self-registration is currently closed.
- Forum contributions: we store topics, replies, their dates, associated account and network-address information, and moderation records. Your display name, published contributions, and any profile information you choose to make public can be read by other visitors and indexed by search engines. Moderators can review submitted content before it becomes public. Sign-in is required to post.
- Messages to us: when you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, and keep an appropriate record of the correspondence. Email providers involved in delivery also process the message.
Do not post passwords, access tokens, private addresses, payment information, private medical information, or another person’s personal details. Bug reports should omit private information from logs and screenshots. The forum does not offer direct file uploads, private messaging, or remote avatar images. Email subscriptions to forum conversations are not currently enabled.
Cookies and your browser
You can read public pages without an account. WordPress uses cookies for sign-in, checking whether your browser accepts cookies, and remembering relevant preferences. Selecting “Remember me” keeps a sign-in session available for longer. Cloudflare may use security cookies when a protection or challenge requires them.
The current site does not include advertising trackers, a marketing mailing list, or embedded third-party video players. Its fonts and editorial images are served from this website. Following an external link takes you to a separate service; it does not automatically sign you into that service.
You can remove or block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in or other account functions. Signing out ends the browser’s active sign-in; clearing cookies does not delete your account or published contributions.
Who can receive information
Authorized site administrators and moderators can access information needed to operate the community, respond to requests, and address abuse. Our website runs on an OpenACAI-operated server using WordPress and bbPress. Cloudflare processes traffic as part of website delivery and protection. Email services process correspondence sent through them.
Published forum content is shared with the public. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation, respond to lawful process, protect people, or investigate security incidents and abuse. We do not use forum account information for third-party advertising.
Our operator is based in the United States. Cloudflare’s network and email delivery can involve processing in other countries. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its service practices. The publisher’s separate contact website has its own OpenACAI privacy notice.
Why we use it and how long we keep it
We use personal information to provide the website and community you choose to use, manage accounts and contributions, answer requests, keep the service secure, and meet applicable obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on the legitimate interests of operating and protecting the community, fulfilling a requested service where applicable, and complying with legal duties. Optional uses that require consent will be explained when offered.
Account information is kept while needed to provide or administer the account. Published posts can remain part of a discussion after an account is closed; a request to remove or anonymize personal information is considered separately from preserving the discussion. Technical logs, correspondence, and moderation records are kept for as long as needed for their operational, security, dispute-resolution, or legal purpose. Relevant factors include whether an issue remains open, whether records are needed to investigate repeated abuse, and whether a legal duty requires retention.
Protected backups may retain earlier copies after information is changed on the live site. Access is restricted, and copies may need to be retained for recovery or legal purposes. We cannot remove copies that other people or search engines have independently made of public posts.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to create an account or post publicly. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
Send requests, including account closure or questions about a public post, to [email protected]. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your account before releasing or changing private records. Account closure does not by itself guarantee removal of all discussion content or records that must be retained.
The forum is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, or someone has posted your private information without permission, contact us using the same address. Do not repeat the sensitive information in a public forum reply.
The game, networking, and Steam
Allied Nations: Reborn remains in development. This notice is not a claim that every future game service or data flow has already been implemented or reviewed. The current technical information establishes direct-IP/LAN networking. Connecting to a host or other players can expose network addresses and exchange session traffic with them; do not assume a relay hides your address.
Steam lobbies, invitations, relay, achievements, Cloud, and Workshop are not established current Reborn features. Their planned integration is not a statement that these services are collecting information from Reborn now. Build-specific information about any game analytics, crash reporting, online services, or other collection will need to be described as those systems are made available. We do not make a blanket claim that the game collects no information.
Steam and other external services operate under their own notices and controls. If you use Steam, consult Valve’s privacy policy. Linking to this notice from Steam does not give this website access to your Steam account. There is no Steam sign-in on this forum.
Changes to this notice
We will revise this page when the website, forum, or relevant game services change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Important changes to how account information is used will be brought to users’ attention through an appropriate site notice or other available contact method.
