A company arrives at the edge of an unfamiliar world. There is work to direct, land to discover, and the immediate problem of keeping people on their feet. That is the starting point for Allied Nations: Reborn, a fantasy colony and nation-building simulation developed by Alex Cooper (Godsring) and published by OpenACAI Inc.
The first steps on the frontier
Current development builds begin with a rotatable globe and a choice of starting region and company. On the ground, a human founding party brings workers, guards, and archers into the world.
Some of the smallest actions give that beginning its weight. Designating a tree leads to cutting and felling, with physical logs left in the scene. Nearby threats and needs alerts bring another kind of pressure. Current play also includes spear combat against a slime and a unit being downed and recovering.
A game taking shape
These are early systems in active development. The aim is to grow from the everyday work of a frontier company toward a broader colony and nation-building experience. The development journal begins here, with a clear view of the foundations and the work still ahead.
